Hi, between your comments/ concerns and the points raised by Leslie Warren ; I would concur that this bylaw need not to be rushed. As a County, we definitely do not want to be blind sided 15-20 years from now with reclamation costs to bring back solar farms in particular back to agriculture status.
With nonresidential taxes being approximately 200% higher than neighbouring municipalities , the desire to create a diverse revenue base is more complicated than many individuals may recognize. Leslie is correct, creative small businesses, employee people locally that in turn support our communities by purchasing locally or volunteering.
