For those with family ties to the Northwest District of Vulcan County or otherwise interested in local history, the following update has been issued.

Update

1. We are still looking for more histories so if you haven’t handed one in yet, you are not too late.  However, the sooner we get them, the better as we are now working on getting the book organized. Email submissions to [email protected] or mail to the Arrowwood Library.
2. Since many of the histories we have were submitted two years ago, we realize that you may have had some changes since then, like marriages, births, moves and even deaths.  If you have already handed your history in and would like to update it, please do so.
3. We are taking pre-orders for the book to help us determine how many books to order, and to ensure that you will receive a book.  Anyone interested in ordering, please send a $30 deposit per book to: Arrowwood Library, Box 88, Arrowwood, AB., T0L 0B0 Cheques can be made out to: Arrowwood Restoration Society – History Book Acc’t.
4. We will be meeting on Wednesdays at 1:00 at the Arrowwood Library to work on the book.  Anyone interested is welcome to come.
